In this lesson, the students will be able to learn about capillary action. They will participate in a hands-on activity where they will see colored water walk from one glass to another using a paper towel.
Science and arts and crafts will once again meet in this activity! The students will be tasked to decorate an empty soda can. The challenge is to make the can stand on its rim and explain how it happened.
Convection is one of the things that happen around us and in this lesson, students will conduct an experiment about convection currents using bottles, hot and cold water, and food coloring to discover the science behind it.
Science is indeed amazing and experiments about dissolving and diffusion are no exception. Prepare to be amazed with this activity which will surely leave you saying “Amazing!”
