Decorating is a therapeutic activity for many. When combined with repurposing items that are no longer used, more interest and excitement are added. The students will be able to experience this this session.
In this activity, the students will create their own home decorations out of old CDs. Pieces of CDs will be put together in order to create a mosaic and form various shapes with it.
Scents can awaken memories. But some scents can stimulate our senses to make us feel something, too, such as lavender is associated to relaxation. The students will put these in a bottle in this activity.
